Our Holiday Season

We had a wonderful Holidays season. It was nice to just be a little family and be able to spend time together with our family and friends.:) We started off the Christmas weekend by going to Seattle and seeing the Gingerbread houses. We then walked the streets of downtown near Westlake Center and enjoyed the lights and music there. We enjoyed making treats and delivering those to our friends on Sunday evening. Issy loved all the cookies and candy.:) Christmas Eve we enjoyed time together during the day relaxing and then that evening we headed to my in-laws for our annual Bailey Christmas Eve Christmas. We had dinner, opened presents and played our Bailey version of Bingo. It is called Dirty Bingo. I made it out with a good DVD which was nice.:) Christmas morning, Ty, Issy and I enjoyed opening presents together and relaxing at home for a bit. We then headed to my parents for presents and snacks which was fun. We went on to the Flowers house for a great cooked Christmas Dinner and finished our night at our house with the Lathrops and my family to open our stockings. It was a great couple of days!:) This last week we have just enjoyed being together as a family!:) I hope you all had a great Christmas and a very Happy New Year!:)

Our Eventful Picture Taking Experience

A couple of weeks ago we ventured to JCPENNYS for a crazy picture taking trip. Everytime we go, I wonder why we even came. It is important for us though to have some good pictures for us and Issy's birth mother. I wasn't to happy with the overall pictures though. Isabella was happy and jumping around before we went in to get our pictures but the minute the lady told her to smile she got all shy and was like, whatever. We did get some what appears to be attempt at a smile but oh well. Here are some that turned out ok. Happy Holidays to you all!:)

I Have Been Tagged

Thanks to a friend and fellow blogger - Alisha - I have been "tagged". So here it goes...

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

5. I love to write poetry. I use to write all the time and in high school I even made a poetry book. I don't write nearly as much as I wish but I still love to when I take the time. I credit this talent to my late grandfather and English teacher in high school.

Now that I am done, I would love to tag Wendy, Jen, Amanda and Sommer if they ready this and would like to do it!:)

SeaGal Auction

Jen and I am our goofy selfs.:) We really love Candy Canes!:)

My old friend JJ who I haven't seen in years! It was so great to catch up!

Last night I took my buddy Jen with me to the Seagal Auction at the Sports Restaurant in Seattle. We joined my parents for dinner and a enjoyable evening while our hubbies stayed home with the kids. It was really fun to be in a restaurant were there were TV's at every table and the menus were made out of basketball and football skins. It was totally my kind of place. The most exciting thing for me was in front of the restaurant in a case was a signed BABE RUTH Ball along with tons of other baseball signed balls. I couldn't believe it. The restaurant is owned by like ten or more athletes who all invested in it. I can't wait to take Ty back there. I am already planning our Valentines!:) It was fun to catch up with some old friends as well who happened to be there also. All and all it was a nice night.:)

August Rush

Tonight Ty and I had a chance to go on a weeknight date. We were planning a date night this last Saturday but because of the snow we were not able to. We went to dinner and then went and saw August Rush. I have to tell you that this was one of the most amazing movies that Ty and I agreed we had both ever seen. The acting, music, and storyline were very well done. I especially loved the boy in the movie. Ty even came home and downloaded the soundtrack to his zune. The music was that good. I really recommend this movie to everyone. Ty and I came out of the theatre blown away!:) This is a picture from my favorite scene in the movie.

Our First Snowfall!:)

On Saturday afternoon it started to snow. This was the first time we got to witness snow in our new house. As the afternoon and evening went on the snow did not let up. We knew that up here on Snoqualmie Ridge we would get a lot of snow but we had no idea how much we would really get. As the night went on the snow kept piling up. When we woke up Sunday morning, there was almost of foot of snow on the ground and church was cancelled. It was so nice to be snowed in for a day and enjoy the beauty of the snow. Here are couple pictures of our cars covered, and the beautiful trees and our little house!:)

Here are some cute family pictures that we got in the snow! So much fun!:)

I love the snow!:) Yeah Baby!:)

As always in Washington the snow comes and it only stays a day. We wish it would be longer but we have to enjoy it when we can! I can tell you that we are hoping for more snow this year!:) Maybe for Christmas!:)
