December so far.....
Our good friends the Atkinsons moved back at the beginning of the month to Utah. This has been a very hard move for our family. Jen and I are very close as well as Issy and their daughter Morgan. In fact we were close with the whole family. I am happy for them to be home in Utah with their family but we sure do miss them tons. Before they left we went out to dinner with them as a good bye. Issy misses those kiddos a lot.Issy lost her third tooth this month. What was special about this tooth is it was her first front tooth. It was really loose and she was in the bathtub and she banged it on accident on a toy and it just fell out. She was so excited! We have always wanted to take Issy to see the Reindeer each year at the local small zoo nearby and haven't. This year we decided to do just that. We got to see the Reindeer and feed them apples. We also got to see white and orange tigers. The baby cougars were fun too! We enjoyed the time together even though it was freezing cold. I am glad we got out to do it!:)We went back to Factoria mall this year for Issy's Santa Pictures. The unfortunate thing is that the Santa had changed from when I was a kid. The same one had been there for like 30 years. He finally retired and it is a little sad. Still we got a great picture of our girl. Here are the Santa Pictures from years past to this year.Looking forward to Christmas and New Years with Family and Friends!:)
November Fun!:)
We had some fun times in November as well! Issy ran her annual Turkey Trot run that they have here in our neighborhood. She ran with her good friend Eden and our friends the Hawkers. She did great and got another medal for her collection.:0)Ty got this picture of Issy with her kitty Huey. I love it of her!My sister works at the Snoqualmie Casino and so she got us a bunch of free buffet tickets to use. So a few girlfriends and I got together one Saturday night and headed there to enjoy the yummy free food. We were also celebrating my friend Lacey's birthday and my good friend Jen Atkinson getting ready to move back to Utah. We had a great night of chatting and eating. What more could you ask for!?!?!?!:)For Thanksgiving this year my parents went to visit my brother. We did the Baileys Thanksgiving on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. So, on Thanksgiving we went to see Happy Feet 2 and out to dinner with my sister and her boyfriend Mikey. We also went by our good friends the Hawkers for some dessert. It ended up being a great Thanksgiving and we are so grateful at this time of year for our family!:)Our friends the Hadleys were in town for Thanksgiving so the day after we met up with them for some lunch. It was great to see them since we don't get to that munch since they moved to Vancouver. We enjoyed our time with them. That weekend we went as a family to see the Snowflake Lane Christmas show at Bellevue Square. We always enjoy doing this as a family each year.To end the weekend we decorated the house with Christmas decorations and decorated the tree. It is a tradition for Ty and Issy to put the star on together.:)
October has come and gone
It has been a crazy few months in the Bailey household. So, I thought I would catch up by month!:)
October was a fun month for us. We had the opportunity to attend one of the Sounders last games of the regular season with our friends the Hastings. We had great seats and enjoyed cheering for our Sounders even thought they lost.Halloween was fun this year. We went out trick or treating with our friends the Hastings, the Hawkers, the Loders and my parents, sister and her boyfriend. Issy wanted to be a batgirl this year and she was the cutest batgirl I know. Luckily we didn't get rain but it was really cold. Issy got a nice load of candy and we were enjoying our time all together.Onto November!:)
