Christmas Time
We had a great Christmas this year. Christmas Eve we headed out in the Snowy weather and headed to Issaquah for lunch and present exchanges with Adam and Becky and my family. We met up at Panera Bread(one of our favorites) and had a nice lunch and time together. After a few last minute present stops, Ty, Issy and I headed up to Ty's parents for Christmas Eve night. They were surrounded by a winter wonderland up there. It was amazing! We had a great night of eating, opening presents, etc. Thanks Baileys for a great Christmas Eve.

Ty, Issy and I ventured home from his parents and we got Santa's plate all ready with a big cookie for him, carrots for his reindeer and some milk also. Issy also drew Santa a picture!:)
We woke up Christmas morning to more snow. Yeah a White Christmas! Also, to a lot of presents from Santa. We had a great morning just the 3 of us opening presents and hanging out.:)

We got all showered up and dressed and headed out in the wintery weather to my parents house for the rest of the day. We spent the rest of the day opening presents, eating good food, playing games and just relaxing and having a wonderful Christmas day. Some of the highlights were when Issy opened her big pony from grandpa and grandma she says, "Oh my gosh, this is what I always wanted!" We got a good crack up at that. This followed later when shed opened a play cash register and stood up stone faced and put her hand out to my sister. She then said, "Give me your money!" Gotta love what kids are learning at a early age. Thanks, mom, dad, sissy and grandma for a fun and nice Christmad day!:)

Merry Christmas Everyone!:)

A Week of Holidays, Snow and Sickness
This last week has been kind of a crazy one! It started off with Ty, Issy and I getting colds. It wasn't to fun but we are finally pulling out of them. Then last week it started to snow. It snowed one and off for a few days and it turned out being the biggest snow fall in a decade. To top it all off, there was a big wind storm with the snow fall that took power from us for only a few hours(thank goodness it wasn't longer) and when we woke up the next morning had snow drift of a foot or more high. Amongst being stuck inside being sick we decided to do some fun Holiday thing and we put together our Ginger bread house that we bought. Issy loved doing this with Ty and loved the frosting. Yesterday Ty shoveled our way to our car and we were finally able to get out and do some more Christmas errands and meet up with my family at PF Changs for a nice dinner. What a crazy week but Yeah for a white Christmas!:) Here are a few pictures from our week!:)

Yes We Do Believe in Santa Claus!!!!!
It is hard to believe this is our 4th Christmas with our beautiful little girl, Isabella. It seems like just yesterday she was out little peanut and now she is a happy vibrant little girl. Every year for Christmas my parents have made us get Santa Pictures from the Santa Claus in Factoria Mall. Since we had Issy we started just getting her pictures with Santa. When she was six months old she had a cute little pictures. The next two years there were tears and fears. This year Issy was so excited to go sit with Santa and get her picture with him. She wanted so bad to tell him that all she wants is a horse for Christmas. So yesterday we headed down to Factoria and met my parents for Santa pictures. When Issy went and sat on his lap, she was so happy and no fear or tears what so ever. We finally got a smile from her. After they took a picture she proceeded to have a long conversation with Santa about what she wanted for Christmas. She also asked him what he would like. Then she told him how it was frozen outside. It was so cute to see what a difference a year makes in a childs life. I love you my dear Issy and every year you are the greatest present of all!:)

December Fun
So this last week we had some fun times celebrating in the Christmas spirit this year. I love this time of year because of the lights, music and just the spirit of the season. Last Wednesday we were able to go to dinner and celebrate our great friend Becky's 30th birthday. We went and ate at a great Mexican place up here on Snoqualmie Ridge called Anna's. Yum yum! Becky is married to Adam who has been close with my family for years. We are so grateful to have them in our lives. Happy 30th Beck!:) Love ya!
On Friday night Ty and I threw a White Elephant party here at our house. We had about 18 people or so all come in our little home. We ate some great appitizers and mingled first. Then the fun began. We had our present opening and it was pretty funny! Some great gag and return gifts for the next years to come and also some nice gifts as well! We had some great laughs. After the gift exchange we pulled out the cards and a played Mafia. If you haven't played it, it is a must. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time and we have some great entertaining friends who make it that much better. Thanks to all of you who made the night such a one to remember!:)
All the Ladies
Fun times at the gift exchange!:0)
On Saturday we woke up and went to our Ward Christmas brunch. We had some food and a little Christmas program. Santa Clause also showed up and we were so happy that Issy was finally excited this year to sit on Santa's lap and not be scared. It was good practice for our offical Santa pictures coming up this week.
We then headed up to Ty's parents for their annual Chocolate Dipping day. Ty's mom has a nice chocolate dipping machine and we were able to dip some pretzels, ritz crackers(soooo good) and some peanut clusters. Ty's family did a lot of other dipping and they are really good at making yummy sweets! Issy even got into the dipping and also loved hanging out with her cousin Addison all afternoon.
To top off the weekend we even got some snow. It looks like we might get more this week so I will get my camera out for sure and get some shots of the beautiful area we live in. My fingers are crossed for a white Christmas this year!:)

Us along with our friends the Reynolds and Simon headed to Bellevue to see the lights at the Botanical Gardens. It is free to get in and you walk around and see all the awesome colorful light of flowers, trees, etc. The kids had a great time and we had great weather as well. Afterwards we all headed to Roundtable for some yummy pizza and great conversation. We are so blessed to have such great friends to spend time with. Afterwards we headed to the Roddys so the guy could watch the big fight on TV and us girls could chat and the kids could play. It ended up being a great night and overall a great weekend. Thanksgiving Weekend and More
Instead of doing a few small posts, I thought I would do one big post for the last week or so. Last weekend, our good friend Erin took our family pictures for us. We went down by the train tracks here in Snoqualmie. It was really windy and so we weren't sure what the pictures would turn out like but we were very happy with the results. Issy was a trooper although she was freezing and Erin did a great job capturing us. Thanks Erin!:) Here are some of our favorites!

On Wednesday before Thanksgiving we invited Ty's parents and sisters down and we all went out to eat at Mike's up here on the Ridge. It was nice to spend some time with them since we wouldn't be at their house for Thanksgiving this year. We all came back and played some games and had a nice evening. Then our neighbors and buddies, the Simons came over and we watched Get Smart. Let me explain what our movie experience was like. Ty fell asleep the first ten minutes. Then half way through Nick decided to go home. Jen and I were left to watch the movie and we cracked up the whole time. We really enjoyed the humor even if our husbands didn't. Thanks Jen for the laughs!:)
Thanksgiving morning Ty woke up and went and played Turkey Bowl with the guys from our ward and the neighboring ward. He said he had a great time with all those men. He was sure sore later though. In the afternoon after watching some football we headed to my parents house for dinner with them, my sister, her boyfriend and our friend the Flowers. We all ate some great turkey thanks to my dad. We also had ham, rolls, and all the stuffings of a good Thanksgiving dinner. After we stuffed ourselves, we all looked at adds for Black Friday and talked and had a nice evening together. Happy Thanksgiving!:)

Friday early morning I got up and picked up my friends Marlo and Amanda and we braved the crowds at six in the morning at Target. We actually had a really fun time. I never knew I could run into many old friends at 6 in the morning at Target. It was great to see my old friends Alisha and Tamie. After Target, we headed to Bath and Body Works, Ross, Michaels and Lowes. We all got a lot of shopping done and were home by 10:30am. I thought I would be really tired but I wasn't. So, Ty got out all our Holidays bins and Issy and I decorated while Ty ran and did some shopping of his own. When he got home we put up our Christmas Tree and decorated it as well. This was the first year Issy really enjoyed doing all the ornaments. It was a great family time!
My mom then came out and her and I went to one of my oldest and closest friends Aubrey's baby shower. She lives in San Fran. with her hubby and this is their first baby. Her parents still live out here in North Bend. Her sister does as well and gave her shower for her. There was a pirate theme and they are having a boy. It was great to see Aub again and spend some time celebrating with her.:)
Mom and I came back to my house and her and dad watched Issy and Ty and I headed to our wonderful friends the Reynolds house for some annual monthly games. I say annual because we always love getting together to play games together. Sommer's very nice father was there and joined us for some Metro and Pirates Cove. Thanks Reynolds for always giving us a fun time when we go over there.:0)
Saturday we relaxed all morning and then we headed out for some more Christmas and grocery shopping. In a five hour period, we hit Safeway, Target, Old Navy and Petco. We also headed over to Bellevue Square and met up with my parents for some dinner and shopping. Ty likes me to show him stuff I like for Christmas, take pictures of the items and then pick what he wants to get me from those items for Christmas. Kinda funny, I know! So, we went around the mall and had fun enjoying the hussle of the Holidays. Ty's family and my sister and her boyfriend then met us with my parents at the mall to watch the Snowflake Lane show that they have there. They have drummers come out and play Christmas music and they light up the buildings with colors and it is just a fun Christmas experience. Issy loved it! It was a great night!:)

We ended the weekend on Sunday with a nice dinner at our friends the Christensens. They also had our other friends the Jones over and it was nice to have all the kids play together for a while so us adults could talk and hang out. It rounded out one busy but happy weekend!:)
