Happy Birthday to you........

Sunday evening we headed up to Ty's family to celebrate his 29th birthday. We had a great dinner with his family, opened presents, and had cake and ice cream.:)

We woke up Ty's birthday morning and he took the day off from work. We spent the morning at the doctors for hopefully some good news in future. We then headed to In Spa so Ty could get a hour long deep tissue massage. He really enjoyed that. We then met up with my dad and sister with Issy for lunch at Red Robin. It was nice to celebrate with them as well. We came home and Issy napped and we relaxed!:) We then headed out to a b-day dinner with some friends.:0)

My Valentine

I just wanted to let my love of 8 years know how much I love him and appreciated all he did for me yesterday on Valentines. I woke up and came downstairs and this is what I found. The card he wrote was so sweet and was just a reminder of how lucky I am to have my hubby!:)

Issy giving her best kiss to the camera getting ready to go to Grandma and Grandpas so we can go out!:)

After our great dinner and Sports watching at The Sports Restaurant and Bar in Seattle. Yes, everyone who knows us knows we are one of the only couples who would go to a place like this on Valentines.:0)

I love you, Ty!:)

Big Girl Bed

A few months ago we got Issy a new big girl bed. We set it up in her room and have been trying to get her to sleep there instead of her crib. She loves her crib and so this has been a hard transition. Finally on Monday Ty and looked at Issy and said it was time to sleep in her big girl bed. We want to get this transition out of the way so we can get going on potty training. We layed her in her bed and as we walked out of the room she started to cry. About a minute later she was quiet. We waited a hour and went and checked on her and she was fast asleep. When she woke up in the morning I went in her room and she was jumping up and down because she realized she slept the night in her bed. We have made it 3 nights now in her bed. Now I just have to work on nap time in her bed. She won't sleep there. She wants her crib. I guess it is one thing at a time.:) This is what I saw when I went in her room this morning.:) So PRECIOUS!:) I love my little lady!:)

Our Busy Sunday

We woke up yesterday morning and instead of heading out to our new ward, we went over the the Mount Si ward for Amanda and Chad Hadleys baby's blessing. It was great to see all of their family and friends we hadn't seen in a while all gather for little Trey. After sacrament, we all headed back to the Hadleys for a little brunch and it was fun to chat with everyone. We had a great time!:)

Jenn Johnson took these very cute pictures at the Hadleys!:)

We came home from the Hadley's and cooked up some chicken wing and got ready to go over to the Jones to watch the Superbowl. We had a nice time all together watching the game, the commercials and chatting. Of course the food was great as well.

Daddy and Issy playing pass with all her many footballs.

I was so sad my Patriots lost! We could of seen history, people!:(

All smiles before heading to the Jones to watch the Superbowl

Issy all tired out after the long day of festivities!:)

After a long and busy day, it was nice to come home and relax and go to bed early!:)

Just Like Daddy

Last night I asked Issy if she was Mommy's Girl? Her response was,
"No, mommy, I Daddy's girl!" Since Issy has turned two she loves to do everything with her daddy. They like to play on the computer, have tickle fights, lay in bed and have conversations together and just recently play basketball together. I got called as the Stake Young Womens Athletic directer so my Thursday nights are devoted to YW basketball. Ty and Issy always tag along and Issy loves to follow her daddy on the court and try to do everything he does. It is very cute! I am so grateful for a husband who is a great father and loves his daughter so much. I am very blessed beyond words!:)
