"Oh My Tummy Hurts!"
Our little girl sure had a roung weekend. It started off by her waking up Friday morning at 3 a.m. sick with the flu. After a bath to clean up and few more episodes we were able to get her back to bed by 5:30 a.m. The rest of Friday she proceeded to feel better, then get sick. We realized of course she had caught the 24 hour flu bug. Friday we went to bed without any complications and Saturday we just lounged around the house to get her better. She was happy though but she didn't eat a lot. We figured she was just getting her appetite back. We thought we had made it through the storm. Well, yesterday(Sunday) we woke up early for church and Issy didn't want to eat breakfast. She was also a little winey. We got to church and sacrament she was fine. I realized though that she hadn't had a poop in a couple of days and this started to worry me. I tried to take her to nursery and Ty and I ended up having to go back and forth in there with her. Normally she goes just fine but she was winey and clingy. After tackling that through church we came home and from noon until 7 o'clock last night she was crying on and off. Her tummy was rock hard and she was pushing so hard. She was MAJOR constipated. All she would say is, "Oh my tummy hurts!". I called the nurse on the phone and she told me to give her a warm bath and then try (I know kinda gross) a surpository. She said if neither of these produced success to take her to the ER because something serious could be wrong. We did as the nurse said and there was no success at all. In fact at one point she was crying and pushing so hard she threw up. It was so sad for Ty and I to see our little hurting so bad and not be able to help her. We then got all bundled up and headed to the Swedish ER in Issaquah. The X-Rayed her and found out that there was a good sized blockage in her intestines. The told us to get this medication for her to drink to help. We got the medication and came home and realized that we were suppose to somehow get our 2 1/2 year old to drink 15 teaspoons of nasty tasting cherry flavored crap. We tried to shove it down her throat with her fighting us every way. Then two minutes later it came right back up. We realized this was a waste and so Ty just held her in his arms until she fell asleep. She woke up just after midnight with a SUCCESS as we call it and she went back to sleep for the night. Today I have already changed 3 diapers and it is only 10:30. I would much rather take that then my daughter in pain any day. If any good came from this craziness Ty and I realized last night how much our little girl means to us. I love her now more than anything and I am so grateful to be her mother.:) Here is a picture of her passed out after all the nuttiness last night.

Our Holiday Season
We had a wonderful Holidays season. It was nice to just be a little family and be able to spend time together with our family and friends.:) We started off the Christmas weekend by going to Seattle and seeing the Gingerbread houses. We then walked the streets of downtown near Westlake Center and enjoyed the lights and music there. We enjoyed making treats and delivering those to our friends on Sunday evening. Issy loved all the cookies and candy.:) Christmas Eve we enjoyed time together during the day relaxing and then that evening we headed to my in-laws for our annual Bailey Christmas Eve Christmas. We had dinner, opened presents and played our Bailey version of Bingo. It is called Dirty Bingo. I made it out with a good DVD which was nice.:) Christmas morning, Ty, Issy and I enjoyed opening presents together and relaxing at home for a bit. We then headed to my parents for presents and snacks which was fun. We went on to the Flowers house for a great cooked Christmas Dinner and finished our night at our house with the Lathrops and my family to open our stockings. It was a great couple of days!:) This last week we have just enjoyed being together as a family!:) I hope you all had a great Christmas and a very Happy New Year!:)

Our Eventful Picture Taking Experience
A couple of weeks ago we ventured to JCPENNYS for a crazy picture taking trip. Everytime we go, I wonder why we even came. It is important for us though to have some good pictures for us and Issy's birth mother. I wasn't to happy with the overall pictures though. Isabella was happy and jumping around before we went in to get our pictures but the minute the lady told her to smile she got all shy and was like, whatever. We did get some what appears to be attempt at a smile but oh well. Here are some that turned out ok. Happy Holidays to you all!:)
