Another week and some more memories!

It has been another week of lots of fun times. The week started last Wednesday when there was a special documentary that aired on Discovery Health of my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tor and Mandy and their kids. They have conjoined twins and Discovery followed them around for a few months. It was such a real and touching special about what they go through on a daily basis. We were able to spend the last couple of weeks with them and we are so grateful for that and for them. We love you guys!:)This last Thursday evening a bunch of women in my ward and in the neighboring ward got together to celebrate 3 special ladies birthdays that were in October. Jen Simon, Marlo Flower and Deborah Barnard. We went to a restaurant up here on the Ridge called Mike's. There ended up being 23 ladies who showed up. It was a amazing turn out and we all had so much fun. Thanks everyone for making the night such a blast! The Birthday GirlsMarloDeborahJen

Our weekend was fun with Ty and I having a date night on Friday night. Best Buy for a TV stand and dinner. Saturday was errand day. Then we decided to go to the Mount Si pumpkin patch and get a couple of pumpkins to carve. It was a beautiful day and we had a fun time!:)Saturday night we had our good friends the Reynolds and Simons over to hang out. We made a cake and celebrating Ben Reynolds birthday which was the next day. He turned 33! Happy Birthday, BenJAMMIN!:)Yesterday Issy, my mom and I headed out to our great friends sons football game. Jacob is 12 and this is his first year playing football. We had the opportunity to go to a few of his games. We even got to see him score a touchdown and it was his last game yesterday. Our friends Teage and his kids were also there and I got some great pictures of Issy, the Flowers daughter Olivia and Teage and Erin's cute little boys. I love all the leaves and colors of fall and I love football!!Issy and her auntie Heidi who came too!The kids all loved the leaves!Lucas sharing a leaf with IssyHurray for leaves!aren't these two the cutest! Finally, I have been working on Issy's room for over a year now. It has been a work in progress. Last year I painted the bottom of Issy's wall. A couple of months ago I finally painted the top half of her wall and made my own chair rail out of paint. It took me two days to do. I then found all the pictures I wanted for her room. My wonderful friend Sommer took shower curtains that I had gotten to use as drapes and sewed them for me. They turned out amazing! Last night Ty and I put the finishing touches up and it is finally finished! I am so happy with it!:)

A Week of Fun

We had a great week full of a few fun activites. Last Monday, I took my neighbor and good friend Jen to see Americas Best Dance Crew Tour Show for her birthday. We love watching our dance shows and we already got to see So You Think You Can Dance and so we were excited to see ABDC as well. It is a show with dance groups instead of Indviduals. Our favorites were the Jaberwakeez, Supercrew and Break Sc8. They were pretty amazing. We couldn't get the best pictures but we got some good ones. They show was at Comcast Arena in Everett and Jen and I had a blast!:) Thanks for making the night so fun, Jen!:)All last week Ty headed up to Whistler for a work convention. He had a lot of meetings and things up there but in the middle of the week they got a break and he was able to go ziplining. He said it was so amazing and he for sure wants to take me up there next summer to go ziplining and see Whistler for myself. A person got these pictures of Ty while he was on the Zipline. They turned out pretty amazing!:)
To round off our week, when Ty got home on Saturday we headed to Remlinger Farms. Living up here on Snoqualmie Ridge, we get a few perks from our Home Owners Association and one of those is a day at Remlinger. We were very excited to go since we weren't able to last year. We had a great time. We got a free lunch, were able to go on some rides, Issy got to ride a pony, etc. It was also fun to go around with different friends as well who were there too. At the end of the day, Issy even got to get a free pumpkin. It was great weather and we couldn't of asked for a better day!:)

All The Baileys Are Together Again

Ty comes from a larger family of seven kids. He has 5 sisters who live in the area and 1 brother who moved from the area to Arizona about 4 years ago. We were so grateful that they were there when we had to go to Arizona to adopt our sweet baby. It was such a comfort to be able to stay with family and have there support during that transitional time. We don't get to see Ty's brother Tor, his wife Mandy and their six children, Paige, Drew, Cole, Taylor, Emma and Blake very often. In fact we hadn't even met the newest additon little Blake who was born in April yet. This last week they all flew up here to visit. Not only to visit but to have some appointments for their little girls Taylor and Emma who are joined at the heart. They are such precious little angels and have been such a miracle to all of us in their family. They are now 2 and it is amazing to see their growth. We hadn't seen them since they were seven months old when we visited them in Arizona. It had been almost two years since Ty's whole family got together. We were able to get together for a family dinner one night and then our annual Bailey Pumpkin Carving/Halloween party this last Saturday night. It was so much fun to all get together and hang out again. It also made Ty so happy to get to spend time with is only brother again. It reminded me what is important in life and that family is the one thing constant. No matter where you all live, you family will always be there.:) Here are a bunch of pictures from our weekend.Ty and little Blake. Isn't he a cutie!:)Mandy, Taylor and EmmaTy and Tor playing Wii. Ty and I got a good laugh when Alden told us what happened.:)Ty, Tor and Tiff carving their pumpkinsThe finished products. Ty's is on the far right! The whole entire Bailey clan.
