A Birthday Party for 40 or so.....

So this year Issy of course wanted her party at KidsBounce again. This is one of her favorite places ever! Well since she has been in preschool she has made a lot of friends and then you add in all her church friends it makes for a lot of kids. So, we just decided to do the big bounch party there. There was no joke like 40 or so kids with all the sibling there. It was a blast though and Issy loved it! Thank you to all the parents who stayed and helped with pizza, cake and presents. I love you my dear Issy!!!!!

Happy 5th Birthday Isabella!!!!!:)

I can't believe my little girls is 5 years old today. Isabella, you are such a joy in your mother and fathers life. We thank your Heavenly Father and sweet Tummy Mommy Laura for you on a daily basis. You brighten each day with your smile, laugh and voice. You have grown into such a amazing little lady and we look forward to many fun years of memories with you. Here are just 5 of the many things we love about you..............

1. Your smile and laugh. When you laugh it lights up our hearts. It is so addicting and it is the best sound in the whole world to us. When you smile, you eyes smile too. There is a special glow in them that just melts our hearts.

2. Your energetic spirit. Although it may be hard to keep up with you sometimes, it is such a joy for us to see your excitment in things. We especially love seeing your energy and excitment when you learn new things. Like when you learned to blow a bubble with bubble gum or when you learned to snap your fingers. Your energy and joy is our energy and joy!

3. Your tenderness. Whenever someone is crying or gets hurt, you are the first to their side to make sure they are okay. You always want to know what happened and are there to say it is okay to them. Your tender heart is so precious to us!

4. Your love for Jesus and prayer. You prayers have become so heart felt and thankful. You know when you are ready to go to bed, eat or just sad or happy to pray. You are great at reminding mommy and daddy sometimes and we love that you love to talk to your Heavenly Father.

5. Your are a cuddle bug. One of the best times of day for us is just before you go to bed and you run to us and just want to cuddle us so close. I hope when you are older you will still want to cuddle with us like you do now.

We love you Issy and pray your birthday is all you want it to be! Happy Birthday our sweet angel!!!

Love,
Mommy and Daddy!:)

Mothers Day is a special day!!!

This year we had a nice Mothers Day! The weather was beautiful outside and we couldn't of asked for a better day of weather. My beautiful daughter and hubby got me flowers and Krispy Kream donuts with a wonderful card. My hubby made me my favorite breakfast of eggs, bacon and toast. Church was really good with great lessons and talks. After church we went to my parents for a wonderful meal and then we headed to a local duck pond to feed the ducks to round out our day.

On Mothers Day I am always reminded of our sweet birth mom Laura who brought us our Isabella. She was a mother in every sense of the word in being brave enough and letting the spirit guide her to us. Everyday I look at Issy although we have rough days I know that she is my special blessing. Thank you Laura for our sweetest blessing! Happy Mothers Day to you!:)

To my mom and my husbands mother, thank you for raising me and for raising my amazing husband to be the man he is. We wouldn't be where we are today if it weren't for them. Happy Mothers day to your both as well!!!!!

9 Years and Going Strong!!!!

On April 26th Ty and I had our 9th wedding anniversary! This year to celebrate we wanted to do something different. Ty got us a hotel for 2 nights in Seattle and we thought we would go and do all the things Seattle had to offer. We took off on Saturday night to Seattle and checked into our hotel. We then went and saw a movie called the Losers. Not bad! We then headed for dinner at Fox Sports Grill(love the TVs playing sports all around you)!:)

The next day we slept in and enjoyed taking our time getting ready for the day. We then spent the day just walking around Seattle and going into shops and just spending a quiet day together. The streets of Seattle aren't to busy on a Sunday. Just outside of Westlake there was this guy who was spray painting these amazing paintings. Ty and I sat and watched him at work and were amazed at his talent. Ty ended up buying one of his pictures of the Space Needle. We ended that night with a nice dinner at the Spaghetti Factory.

Monday morning(our anniversary) we woke up and headed down to Pikes Place. Ty let me pick out some flowers and we got some yummy donuts. We then headed back over to the Ipanema Grill (Brazilian Restaurant) which we had been to just a couple weeks back. We had their lunch buffet which was so good. Plus it is one of Tys favorite restaurant!:) After lunch we headed over to the Space Needle and went up to the observation deck. We hadn't been up there together ever in our time since dating and marriage so it was nice to do that for the first time on a anniversary. After that we headed home.

It was so nice to get away together. I am so grateful for a amazing husband who is so patient and loving. He is such a wonderful listener and friend. He makes me laugh and smile all the time. When he looks into my eyes I know that he loves me. He is tender and caring and such a special man. Thank you Ty for 9 wonderful years of marriage. I love you with all my heart!:)
