With the passing of our nieces, Ty, Issy and I headed to Arizona for their funeral services. We headed down with Ty's parents and all his sisters. We spent 3 days in the hot hot sun and although it was sad to be there for such a thing, we were so grateful to be able to spend time with Ty's whole family. We sure do miss Tor, Mandy and their kids since they live there but we are so happy every time we get to see them. Issy loved spending time with her cousins, Paige, Drew, Cole and Blake. We also got to visit with Isabella's birth mom Laura. We had breakfast with her and Issy and her got some time to color and stuff together. The funeral services were amazing and so wonderful. We are so grateful to have been there and so grateful even more for all our wonderful families.

Remembering and Arizona Bound
After the girls passed, we got together with Tys family for dinner and after dinner we wrote messages on Blue and Purple baloons to Emma and Taylor and let them go into Heaven to them.:) Blue and Purple were Emma and Taylors favorite colors. IT was a special night for the family.

Two Sisters One Heart.... We love you Emma and Taylor!
As many of you know, we were blessed to have two miracles in our family. Our nieces Emma and Taylor Bailey were conjoined twins at the heart. They were only suppose to live for 48 hours and they surpased that timeline greatly.
On August 10, 2010 while having a minor surgery at Childrens Hospital, they passed away. It was sudden and so sad for the whole family. They girls were beautiful. Their spirit and personalities were so bright. They will be missed by all!
See you on the other side our sweet nieces! We love you!

Everything else this summer thus far
My friend Sommer got the nice theatre again this year to see Eclipse. It was nice to get away and have fun with my friends. We even got food coupons so we were able to enjoy the food there too for pretty cheap. Thanks everyone for a fun time! I am liking the movies more and more as they go on!

I haven't been as good at taking pictures of Issy this summer. Thank goodness for my dad and some good friends who have gotten some cute shots of Issy.

Last weekend about 6 of us headed down to Downtown Seattle together and did the Torchlight Run. When I registered for it months ago, I planned on runnning it but because I couldn't get a lot of training done, my friend Jen walked it with me. We all ended the night at Panera for a good dinner and good company!:)
Last this last Saturday my sister was able to get Ty, Issy, my dad and I into the Seahawks Training camp. We enjoyed watching them practice, Issy jumping on the Bouncy toys, and getting autographs. We got a football with about 6 players autographs. Brandon Mebane(one of the Seahawks defensive lineman) even took off his shoes and autographed it and gave it to Issy. We just added it to our sports memorablia collection. We had a great time even though it was raining. Can't wait for next year!:)

Trips, Trips and more trips
Amongst all the craziness with Ty's diagnosis, we had been on 4 trips in two months time. It seemed like every other weekend we were in and out of town. We started at the end of May and took Issy to Southern California. We did Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for two days. Then we headed to LA and did the LA Zoo and went to the beach and to see Shrek, etc. We had such a nice trip with our little family. Issy had a great time and she loved the Buzz Lightyear ride the best. We even got her on most of the big Rollercoasters.

In the middle of June, Ty and I headed by ourselves to Las Vegas for 3 days. We met his parents, and his brother and his wife and 6 kids down there. Ty's moms side of the family was having a family reunion. We all stayed at the World Mark resort and we all enjoyed swimming during the day, family reunion at night and also going to the strip. Ty and I even snuck away one night and saw the Blue Man Group. They were awesome! We enjoyed our small little getaway. Especially even more after the crazy end of June that we had.

After we got the diagnosis for Ty, we headed to Palm Springs. My parents had planned 6 days away there for the 4th of July and my mom's birthday. This is the second year in a row that we did this. It fell perfectly before Ty started his chemo treatment. It was really nice for me to be able to relax and really let it sink in our new future. It was also nice to have family around to help with Issy. Ty was able to get out and golf with my dad too. My brother even flew in from Tennessee for a couple days to hang out as well. We were so grateful to have that time.:)

Finally Ty and I were suprised by our good friend Laurie Roddy and Sommer Reynolds with a trip to Whistler. They came by our house one night and gave us a envelope. They had gotten donations from about 20 of our friends and booked us a two night stay in Whistler with a bunch of spending cash. They even talked to my mom about watching Issy. Ty and I were so appreciative and grateful for such wonderful friends in our life. That weekend we drove up to Whistler and enjoyed a weekend of sleeping in, eating, Ziplining and going on the Peak to Peak Gondola Tour. Laurie even hooked us up with a amazing suite on the beautiful lake there. Thank you to all of you who helped send us on a wonderful get away for the two of us. We had such a memorable weekend!:)
