Our Big 1st Grader
This last Tuesday Issy started 1st grade. I can't believe Issy is 6 years old and going to full time school. She is in Mrs Beck's class this year and she is in there with a few friends from her class last year. Her two best buds are in different classes but according to Issy they see each other at Recess. The first day was hard for me because I didn't know what to do with myself but now that it has been a couple days, I am getting use to having some time to get some stuff done. It is amazing to me how fast time flies by. I love my little girls so much and am so grateful for her sweet smile and spirit. Happy 1st grade Issy!:) Love you!
Oahu, Hawaii Bailey Style
Last year when Ty got his diagnosis, his parents and the rest of the family decided to use their time share and book a week in Hawaii this August. We also decided to just have adults go and leave the little ones home this time. So on August 18th Ty and I as well as his parents, 5 sisters, 1 brother and brother-in-law all headed to Oahu. A brother-in-law and sister-in-law were not able to come and we did miss them. We enjoyed a week in Waikiki going to the beach, to the Aloha Stadium swap meet, exploring the North Shore, golfing, driving range, swimming, shopping, eating lots of food including Dole Pineapple Whip, going to Hanauma Bay to snorkel, Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was so nice to all spend time together and have some relaxing and enjoyable time. Thanks to Tys parents for planning a fun vacation and creating such great memories. Mahalo!!!!!
After we left Tys family, Ty and I checked in at the Turtle Bay Resort for 2 days to have some time together. The Resort was beautiful and we loved it. We were able to go golf The Arnold Palmer Golf course there which was beautiful and I enjoyed some time at the pool. It was nice to have a couple days of down time before heading home!:)

Seattle Seahawks Training Camp
On the 17th of August my sister got Ty and I Seahawk VIP Traning camp tickets. We were so excited!:) When we got there, we got to go right down by the field and sit and watch practice. We also got free food and drinks. It was a beautiful day and Ty and I loved being so close to the training action. After training ended, Ty and I were able to get a bunch of autographs. I was even able to meet Pete Carroll and get a picture with him. It was so cool for sports teams like us!!!!!!:) Thanks sissy for a fun time!:)

Utah for a few days
Issy and I headed last week to Utah for a couple days. My grandpa turned 80 and they were having a surprise birthday celebration for him. We went down for that and then Issy and I headed up to Salt Lake City to spend time with our good friends the Richards. They moved from our ward back to Utah and while they lived here we became close. It was so fun for Issy and I to spend a couple days with them and feel really grateful for their friendship. We also got to meet up with our friend Mary and her daughter Katie for lunch as well. They have been such great friends in our life and we were happy to be able to stop and see them. Issy and I wished Ty could of joined us thought but he had to stay and work. It was fun to take Issy around Temple Square as well and show her BYU and some other fun sights of Utah. Fun times!:)
