December Fun

So this last week we had some fun times celebrating in the Christmas spirit this year. I love this time of year because of the lights, music and just the spirit of the season. Last Wednesday we were able to go to dinner and celebrate our great friend Becky's 30th birthday. We went and ate at a great Mexican place up here on Snoqualmie Ridge called Anna's. Yum yum! Becky is married to Adam who has been close with my family for years. We are so grateful to have them in our lives. Happy 30th Beck!:) Love ya!On Friday night Ty and I threw a White Elephant party here at our house. We had about 18 people or so all come in our little home. We ate some great appitizers and mingled first. Then the fun began. We had our present opening and it was pretty funny! Some great gag and return gifts for the next years to come and also some nice gifts as well! We had some great laughs. After the gift exchange we pulled out the cards and a played Mafia. If you haven't played it, it is a must. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time and we have some great entertaining friends who make it that much better. Thanks to all of you who made the night such a one to remember!:)All the LadiesFun times at the gift exchange!:0)

On Saturday we woke up and went to our Ward Christmas brunch. We had some food and a little Christmas program. Santa Clause also showed up and we were so happy that Issy was finally excited this year to sit on Santa's lap and not be scared. It was good practice for our offical Santa pictures coming up this week.We then headed up to Ty's parents for their annual Chocolate Dipping day. Ty's mom has a nice chocolate dipping machine and we were able to dip some pretzels, ritz crackers(soooo good) and some peanut clusters. Ty's family did a lot of other dipping and they are really good at making yummy sweets! Issy even got into the dipping and also loved hanging out with her cousin Addison all afternoon. To top off the weekend we even got some snow. It looks like we might get more this week so I will get my camera out for sure and get some shots of the beautiful area we live in. My fingers are crossed for a white Christmas this year!:)

Christmas is yet another reason to have parties with friends. A chocolate dipping party too - perfect! I am also hoping for a white Christmas.
