A Fun Filled Few Days!:)

Last week we had a couple of busy days.:) On Thurday night our good friends Wendy and Kevin Burke were in town with their two kids Kyle and Anna. The Burkes were in our old ward Cougar Mountain Ward. They moved to Chicago a couple years ago for school and came back to Seattle to visit family and friends. They are now on their way to Dallas for Kevin's new job. So along with having them over, we also had some other friends over. We were all close back when we all lived here. The Hadley's, Brown's, Lathrop's and Steiner's joined us as well. The weather was perfect out so we had a BBQ in our front yard and all visited while the kids played until way late. After everyone left, Wendy and Kevin stayed with their kids till late and it was so nice for Ty and I to hang out again with them. We sure do miss them! All the Girls, Becky, Dayna, Amanda, Me, Michelle and Wendy

Starting on Wednesday night, my neighbor Jen started a puzzle. It is the 1000 places to see before you dies gorgeous beaches puzzle. When we started it, little did we know what that meant. About two days later and a little over 10 hours of work, we finally finished. We nicknamed ourselves the puzzle nerds. We had a really great time doing it though.:)
On Friday night, my wonderful husband took me to our annual Mariners vs Yankees game. Ty takes me every year because he knows how much I love my Yankees!:) This year is a hard one for me because it is the first time in 15 years that it looks like the Yankees won't make the playoffs. We still had a great time. We sat twenty rows back from home plate and had a great view of the field and Derek Jeter.:) We watch Brandon Morrow of the Mariners throw a no hitter into the 8th inning. It was pretty amazing to have almost watched a little bit of history. My hubby really does love me because he is not the biggest fan of the Yankees and still every year he goes with me and takes pictures for me and accepts this part of me.:)Saturday we had the Hadley's over for some great Nacho dip and to watch the Huskies vs BYU game. BYU prevailed in the end. It was a great game to watch and we had a good time. We then played a new game that Ty and I got called Pirates Cove. Ty and I love to play games and we decided to try a new game. It was pretty fun. Little did we know until after the Hadleys left that we had forgotten half of the rules. Ty and I can't wait to play it again and get it right this time.:0)

Sunday was a great day at church, nap time and a nice dinner at my parents. Ty got these cute pictures before church of Issy. I love this outfit that she has one.:)
Man, it was a busy couple of days but we had a blast!:)

The best part is the BYU won! It sounds like a great weekend, and so fun to see all those familiar faces!
