The rest of our summer...........

Amongst all the sad news we have had some good times this summer. First my friend Jen and I decided to take Issy and her daughter Morgan on a mommy/daughter night out. We took them to dinner at Red Robin and then went and did some school shopping. Jen got these great pictures of the girls. They are little hams that is for sure! Thanks girls for a fun night!

It was my good friend Haileys birthday and so a few of us girls took her out to dinner to celebrate. We love any excuse to have a girls night. Happy Birthday, Hailey!:)

Issy has joined a soccer team this year. She is on a team with her friends Morgan and Brooklynn. There are also 3 boys on her team who she gets along with well. She had her first game yesterday. When I get pictures I will post them. Anyhow, they had a little parade and soccer pictures a couple weekends ago. It was so cute! I love that my little girl is getting into soccer. Go Issy and Go Gaters!:)

Our neighbor Taylor turned 6 last week and for her birthday she had Issy and Morgan go with her to get pedicures. They were so cute all getting their toes done. Afterwards we went back to Tay's house and they all had her favorite meal for lunch. It was sure a fun time for those girls!:)
On August 31, 2010 my grandmother Elaine Midgley passed away. She had a stroke this last Feb and has gone downhill every since. The last month and a half she was in my mothers home under hospice and nurses care. She had a miny stroke a few days before she passed and then she never really woke up. I was with my mom, dad, sister and nurse/friend Melissa when my grandma passed. It was heartbreaking for me and my family! My grandma was a amazing woman. She loved and cared for her husband, children and us grandchildren so much. She was a true example to me of love. I have so many wonderful memories growing up from my grandparents. My grandpa passed 5 1/2 years ago and it gives me great comfort knowing she is with him now. She is also with her daughter who passed away 17 years ago. I am grateful for the blessing of being her grandaughter. I will miss you grandma but I know you are happy! I love you!
