Our Hawaii Trip

We just got back from a amazing week in Hawaii. Ty and I left last Monday to Oahu. We stayed at the Alo Moana Hotel for two nights in Waikiki. We had a great time relaxing in the sun, shopping and we also hiked Diamond Head. We couldn't of asked for better weather the whole week we were there. The tempeture didn't go below 85 degrees. On Wednesday night our wonderful neighbors Jen and Nick Simon joined us in Hawaii and we all drove up to the North Shore. We stayed with a great couple in their basement in Haleiwa on the North Shore. We were rigth down the street from Sunset Beach. We spent a lot of time beach hoping and playing in the ocean. We also enjoyed reading on the beach and being goofy as well. We spent some time in old Haleiwa with Nick's cousin for a evening. We also went to the temple grounds and visitor center. We enjoyed going to the International Market and the Aloha Stadium for the swap meet. We ended our trip by going to the Polynesian Cultural center on Saturday night which was our last night there. It was so nice to be able to enjoy ourselves there and learn about the islands. Ty really loved learning more about his culture(since he is a party Hawaiian). We loved the Luau food and the night show was amazing. Ty and I loved the loud drums from Tonga! Yeah! The only down side was that Ty was passing Kidney stones while we were there. He was trooper though throuhout it all and we still had a great time.:) We will be back there for sure someday. It was a TRUE Paradise!:)

Hey neighbor dude. That sure was an unforgettable trip. Hey, up on your blog, did you really mean that Ty is a party Hawaiian? Or partly Hawaiian? I like it the way you wrote it - it's funny :)
I also wanted to say thanks for all the preparation you put into the trip - the car reservation, living accommodations, and getting acquainted with the area before we got there so our time could flow smoothly:)
We had so much fun and enjoyed sharing all the experiences with our fabulous neighbor-buddies:) It worked out so nice how the guys went to the Dole Plantation, and Teds... "TEDS!!!!!!!!!!!"...
while we enjoyed our precious beach time. Special thanks to Foodland for stocking our "surf boards." Love you BRO!
