What We Have Been Up To In The Last Few Weeks..............

We have had a couple buys weeks and everytime I seem to be able to sit down at the computer something comes up or I am pulled away by my little munchkin at home. So, I thought I would have one big nice post about our lives the last couple of weeks. On May 22nd, my twin brother, Jason and his wife Jenny welcomed they first child into the world. Little Emma Jane Isaacson was born. When she was born, they realized the 2nd day something wasn't right and ran somet tests. It turns out sweet little Emma has Down Syndrome. After a few days of trying to undestand what this meant and what they had to prepare for, my bro and his wife settled into the fact that Heavenly Father had entrusted them with this special child. She is a little angel! My mom and sister were able to go back to Tennessee to visit and hold her and spend time with my brother and Jenny as well. I can't wait till I can meet my sweet niece and snuggle her! Congrats Jas and Jenny! You truly do have a perfect child!:)
After Memorial Day we had about two and a half weeks of pure sunshine and it was also very hot. Not to normal for May around here. I personally enjoyed every bit of it and so did Issy. All we did for those two weeks is had some fun outside with all our friends on Issy's new slip'n'slide and our fantastic neighbors little pools. Here are some shots of Issy and her friends!
A couple of weeks ago Ty's brother, Tor and his wife Mandy came up with their twin Taylor and Emma for a surgery at Childrens Hospital. The night before they had the surgery we were able to spend some time with them up at Ty's parents house. We were also able to visit them at Childrens and the surgery that they had went well. They are back home in Arizona for now and will be up again in a few months. We sure miss them and are so happy when we get to see them! All of you who know us know that Ty and I are huge sports fans. This year we bought a six game package to the Mariners games. Ty has already used some of the tickets going with a few friends to some games. A week and a half ago, him and I went to see the Mariners win against the Minnesota Twins. We had great seats right up from Centerfield. Ty got this cool shot of Ichiro.Last week, Ty's little sister Tia graduated from Woodinville High School. We went with Ty's family to the UW campus for her graduation and then headed to Dick's afterwards. Congrats Tia! We love you! When Ty was in high school he grew up with a great group of Mormon kids. They called themselves the MG which stands for Mormon Gang. There were about 15 of them of so and Ty has such great memories with them all. I credit them as helping Ty become the amazing man he is today. This last weekend one of Ty's closest friends Kelly flew in from Utah and they put on a MG Reunion. About half the friends were able to be there as such had other committments and others live in other states now. It was fun though to see some of them again and meet some new people that were old friends of my hubby. Here is a picture of Ty and his buddy Kelly. This last Saturday Issy had her first dance recital. I was very reluctant to put her into dance because I am not your normal girls girl. I love sports and of course want my little girl to like sports too. My sister was teaching at a dance studio though and so I conceded to her and my mom wanting Issy to do a dance class. It wasn't until I saw her perform her recital that I realized how cute it really was. Ty and I talked afterwards how our little girl is growing up so fast. It seems like just yesterday she was a little peanut. I am adding some photos from her dress rehearsal and then the video of her dance at the end. What a busy couple of weeks but also a lot of fun!:0)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZS6Xrq5SZc

Issy is so adorable. What a beautiful little dancer she is. She must love that special time with Heidi.
Jason and his wife must be quite the couple and will be blessed every day.
I hope you are all doing well. We really should get together one of these days.
